CapSource and EduSourced are expanding their collaboration to deliver project-based learning engagements to business schools by facilitating new connections with real companies and powering the collaborations through technology-based solutions
CapSource Education, an edtech startup that connects higher education programs with real companies in order to enhance experiential learning offerings, officially announced its growing partnership with edtech software platform EduSourced to bring experiential learning to more schools in the upcoming academic year.
CapSource helps business schools identify companies interested in working with students through research-focused, project-based learning initiatives. CapSource also collaborates with faculty and company representatives to ensure course learning objectives align with company goals. Similarly, EduSourced’s custom, proprietary experiential program management software allows schools to organize experiential learning collaborations onto one platform, monitor and track project progress with milestones, foster student collaboration and discussion, and store and archive all project-related information in a single, secure area.
“Between EduSourced & CapSource, we provide a full solution for developing and scaling experiential learning programs,” said David Comisford, CEO & Co-Founder of EduSourced. “Together, it’s easier for faculty to organize than ever before since the CapSource engagements are more turn-key and easy to monitor.”
CapSource and EduSourced worked together on the 2018 International Accreditation Council for Business Education (IACBE) Live Business Case Competition in New Orleans this past year. For this competition, student teams were tasked with creating and presenting a product feature roadmap and revenue model for a real startup in order to help the company set goals for the upcoming year. They’re very excited about working with IACBE again next year to take their international student case competition to the next level! CapSource and EduSourced have also collaborated on experiential learning engagements together with Fordham University and the University of Maryland in the past as well.
Jordan Levy, Founder & Executive Director at CapSource says, “Teaming up with EduSourced is a great way for us to expand our reach. When schools opt to use both of our services, the collaborations are more engaging, the projects are easier to manage, and the outcomes are much better. We’re excited to be providing all of our joint customers with special pricing this upcoming year, which will enable schools to roll out larger experiential learning programs quicker than ever.”
CapSource provides traditional education programs with access to a directory of companies interested in developing students through experiential learning. Using our hands-on collaborations, students learn by working on real challenges with business leaders from our network of host companies. We help design the projects so that they align with teaching goals and company objectives in order to maximize the outcomes for all parties. Based in Brooklyn, NY, CapSource provides students with an immersive, engaging, hands-on learning experience through their highly effective collaboration formats, including Site Visits, Live Business Cases, and Capstone Projects.
